MMK to launch new mill

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) plans to launch production operations at the first stage of its mill 2000 on July 16. The rolling complex is assigned for the production of high-strength cold rolled and galvanized metal. The mill 2000 will produce 2 million mt of products per year. The second stage of the complex will be commissioned next year.
