MMK commissions new reheating furnace at mill 2500

Russia-based steelmaker Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced that it has started pilot operation of the reheating furnace No. 1 at its plate shop No. 4. This is the last of three new reheating furnaces, built within the framework of the reconstruction of MMK's hot rolling mill 2500, replacing the previous six reheating furnaces.
