Mexico’s economic activity in April improved 2.4 percent, year-on-year, and 0.7 percent month-on-month, according to information released on Wednesday by the nation’s institute of geography and statistics, Inegi.
The economic activity of primary activities in April rose 4.6 percent, year-on-year, and 3.6 percent, month-on-month. Despite increasing 1.1 percent year-on-year, secondary activities were almost stable, registering a 0.1 percent decline in April compared to March. Following the up trend of the nation’s economy, tertiary activities improved 0.4 percent month-on-month and 2.8 percent year-on-year.
