Mexico's iron pellet output declines in November

Mexico’s iron pellet output in November 2015 declined 25.1 percent, year-on-year, according to figures released by the country’s statistics agency, Inegi.

Mexico’s iron pellet output diminished to 486,105 mt in November, from 648,938 mt in the same period of the year prior.

In the cumulative period of January to November 2015, iron pellet production declined 1.7 percent, year-on-year.

Inegi said seasonally adjusted data for the month of November indicate that the nation’s mining and metals production index improved 1 percent, month-on-month, and 2.6 percent, year-on-year.
