Mexico’s ICA announces investment for transportation projects

Mexican construction firm Empresas ICA SAB announced Monday that it will receive 3 billion pesos ($197 million) from a Canadian investor in exchange for an equity stake in transportation projects.

According to the announcement, Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ), will get a 49 percent equity stake in a joint venture in the agreement, which will focus on four of ICA’s Mexican road-construction projects.
