Gerdau Corsa, the Mexican subsidiary of Brazilian integrated steelmaker Gerdau, received the ISO 9001:20015 certification for the rebar it produces locally, the company said this week.

The certification was issued to the company’s Tultitlan mill, located in the city and state of same name.

According to Gerdau Corsa, the certification is also valid for the billets and sections it produces in Mexico.

Gerdau Corsa said the ISO 9001:20015 certification also complies with the Mexican NMX-B-506-CANACERO-2011 norm for rebar.
