Mexico’s economic activity improves 2.8 percent in February

Mexican economic activity in February improved 2.8 percent, year-on-year, and 0.2 percent, month-on-month, according to information released on Tuesday by the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi.

According to the statistics agency, primary, secondary and tertiary activities rose by 3.6, 0.8 and 3.9 percent in February, year-on-year, respectively.

However, on the month-on-month analysis, primary and secondary activities declined 1.7 and 0.1 percent, respectively, while tertiary activities rose 0.5 percent in February, month-on-month.
