Mexican economic activity in April increased 2.8 percent, year-on-year, according to data released on Monday by the country’s statistics agency, Inegi.
According to government data, primary and tertiary activities in April improved 0.2 and 4.5 percent, year-on-year, respectively, while secondary activities in the same period dropped 0.3 percent, year-on-year.
Inegi said primary and secondary activities in April fell 0.9 and 0.3 percent, month-on-month, respectively, while tertiary activities grew 0.5 percent in April month-on-month.
