Mexican economic activity in March rose 2 percent, year-on-year, according to data released on Monday by the country’s statistics agency, Inegi.
Inegi said the country’s economic activity fell slightly in March, by 0.2 percent when compared to February.
According to government data, primary and tertiary activities improved 5.1 and 2.9 percent in March, year-on-year, while secondary activities in the same period remained stagnant, with zero growth.
However, primary activities dropped 1.1 percent in March on the month-on-month analysis.
Secondary and tertiary activities in the same period remained stable, with zero growth on the month-on-month analysis.
