Metso to supply mining equipment to Chinese stainless producer TISCO

Finnish industrial technologies provider Metso Group will supply mining equipment to Chinese stainless producer Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Company Ltd's (TISCO) new iron ore processing plant in Lan County, Shanxi Province, China. The delivery will be completed during the third quarter of 2011.

The value of the order is approximately €30 million and it is included in Metso Mining and Construction Technology's Q2 orders received.

The order comprises three semi-autogenous mills as well as related start-up and commissioning services. The annual processing capacity of the plant's three grinding lines will be 22 million metric tons of raw ore following the delivery, which will be the largest capacity in China.
