Metro Group makes third acquisition in 12 months

Salt Lake City, Utah-based recycling firm Metro Group has acquired the assets and location of Allied Metals in Ogden, Utah. It will consolidate its existing Ogden location to the new acquisition’s site. In the past 12 months, Metro Group has acquired Arrow Metals in Missouri and North American Recycling in Idaho as part of its growth strategy.

Metro Group was founded in 1947 and is a metal recycling and transloading company that does business domestically and internationally.
