Ukrainian mining and steel producing group Metinvest Group has announced that its subsidiary Avdiivka Coke Plant in Donetsk has resumed production after the reconstruction work carried out following a bombing last week.

Currently, at the plant there are seven coke oven batteries, one of which is in repair, producing 6,900 mt of coke per day.

The company said that rail traffic has been also restored, enabling Avdiivka to receive raw materials and to export finished products.
