Metinvest will sell products of Moldavian Metallurgical Works

The Ukraine's largest vertically-integrated mining and steel group Metinvest has stated that it has signed a contract with Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ) for the delivery of scrap metal to MMZ and the distribution of MMZ's products.


In May-June, Metinvest plans to ship about 33,000 mt of MMZ's products: 7,000 mt in the domestic market, 14,000 mt in Russia, and 12,000 mt in foreign markets. For the production of this volume of steel products, Metinvest will supply MMZ with about 30,000 mt of metal scrap.
