Ukraine's largest vertically-integrated mining and steel group Metinvest has announced that its Russian wholesale and retail sales unit Metinvest Eurasia has commenced sales of electric-welded pipes from Ukraine-based Lugansk Pipe Works (LTZ) as of February 2012.

In February, LTZ shipped about 4,000 mt of pipe to Metinvest Eurasia. In the February-April period of the current year electric-welded pipes from LTZ are planned to be stocked at Metinvest Eurasia warehouses.

Metinvest stated that adding the products from LTZ to the product range offered at its service centers contributes to improving customer services, indicating that the company is fulfilling the needs of the construction industry and metal fabricators.

LTZ produces square pipes and round pipes with diameter from 51 to 168 mm.
