Sales of the threaded rebar, with strength of 500 MPa and diameters of 20 mm and 22 mm, have already started. Yenakiieve Iron & Steel Works' Makiivka Branch has also rolled a test batch of threaded rebar with strength of 600 MPa and diameter of 20 mm. This product will allow a reduction of 17 percent in the metal used in mine rock bolts. Industrial trials for this product are planned in the near future.
