Ukrainian mining and steel producing company Metinvest Holding and Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe have won the tender held by Ukraine's Ministry of Economy to supply steel pipes (welded, seamless, tubing, drilling, casing) to Ukrtransgaz, the state-owned operator of Ukraine's mainline gas pipelines, worth UAH 290.094 million (about $36.7 million).
Accordingly, Metinvest won a contract for the supply of 8,506 mt of steel pipes valued at around UAH 208 million ($26 million), and Interpipe received an order for the supply of 3,731 mt of pipes valued at about UAH 82.08 million ($10.4 million).
