Metalloinvest inks long-term contract with Evraz for supply of iron ore products

Russia-based leading global iron ore and hot briquetted iron (HBI) producer Metalloinvest has announced that it has signed a long-term contract with Russian mining and steelmaking company Evraz Group for the supply of 3.4 million mt of iron ore and pellets.

According to the contract, Metalloinvest will supply 1.6 million mt of pellets and 1.8 million mt of iron ore concentrate to Evraz from its Mikhailovsky GOK plant before June 30, 2018.

Metalloinvest’s first deputy CEO and sales director Nazim Efendiev stated that supplying high-quality iron ore products to Russian steel companies on long-term contracts is a permanent priority for the company.
