The Russian iron ore and steel producing company Metalloinvest Holding (Metalloinvest) has announced that due to completion of reconstruction works of its steel producing subsidiary Ural Steel, the company expanded its partnership with Russian pipe producer ChTPZ Group, consisting of Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) and Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works.

As a result of the negotiation between the companies, ChTPZ has expressed its interest to increase supplies of steel from Ural Steel. In particular, the supplies will include round (tube) billets, produced at new combined concaster of Ural Steel, which was commissioned in spring of the current year. The supply of new round billets will allow ChTPZ to improve quality of its seamless pipes and expand its sales markets.
