Metalloinvest appoints acting general director

The shareholders of the Russian iron ore and steel producing company Metalloinvest Holding accepted on Friday, March 19, the resignation of Mr. Mark Buzuk, general director of Metalloinvest Management Company.

Accordingly, Eduard Potapov, who is currently the company CFO, has been appointed acting general director.

Mr. Buzuk had been brought in to support the company through the economic crisis. He has successfully fulfilled that role, meeting all key performance targets. The company is back at the same level of operating performance, as measured by its key performance indicators, as before the crisis.  All assets within the holding are operating profitably.
