Masteel's longs get green light for Europe

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 3, 2007, Anhui-Province based Maanshan Steel (Masteel) was granted certificates for its quality control system and products, issued by the UK Certification Authority for Reinforcing Steels. The product certificates cover Masteel's hot rolled ribbed rebar and hot rolled wire rod, and are effective until December 31, 2007. In greater detail, the certified products are as follows: BS4449: 2005, B500B hot rolled ribbed rebar, 12~40 mm dia.; BS4449: 1997, 460B hot rolled ribbed rebar, 12~40 mm dia.; BS4482: 2005, 250 hot rolled wire rod, 6.5~13.5 mm dia.
