Butler, Pennsylvania-based tubular products distributor Marmon/Keystone announced Wednesday it has held a groundbreaking ceremony for the company's new McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania metals service center building. The new facility is expected to be fully operational by September 2013.

The current McConnellsburg service center, established in 2004, operates out of leased warehouse space at a nearby location.

"The new facility will be 25 percent larger than our current space, which will allow us to handle material in a more efficient manner," says Lou Grenci, VP Northeastern region. "The extra space will also provide the opportunity to increase our capabilities, enabling us to take on additional business."
