Baltimore-based custom steel wire form manufacturer Marlin Steel has announced they have purchased an Ultimat UMW-100 wire and strip forming & welding machine.

This machine represents the single largest investment in factory automation that Marlin Steel has made since 2014.

This wire forming and welding device will expand Marlin’s wire forming capabilities for markets such as the medical, automotive, and pharmaceutical markets.

A spokesperson for the company said they are already training team members on how to operate the new machine.
