Mannesmann Boru wins tender worth $53 million

According to recent news in the market, Mannesmann Boru, which is about to merge with Borusan Boru has recently won a tender worth $53 million in Israel. The tender was held for the project regarding establishment of a 300 km gas pipeline between Haifa and southeast Israel. According to the terms of the tender, Mannesmann Boru will supply high quality spiral pipes, worth $53 million for 3 years. The first phase of the project, which is expected to be completed in 2005, will generate revenues of $20 million.
