Maanshan Steel’s train wheels receive Best Quality 2010 award from GE

Anhui Province-based Chinese steel producer Maanshan Iron and Steel Corporation's (Maanshan Steel) steel train wheel products have received the Best Quality For 2010 award from US company General Electric Co., Ltd (GE). Maanshan Steel has now won the best supplier and best quality awards from GE in the past three years for its steel train wheel products.

GE is the biggest user of Maanshan Steel's steel train wheels in the United States. In November 2008, Maanshan Steel expanded its train wheel production capacity to 1.1 million wheels per year, thus becoming the largest steel train wheel production base in the world.
