Lueyang Steel sees 5.48 percent rise in total output value in H1

Shaanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Lueyang Iron and Steel Co. (Lueyang Steel) has announced that in the first half of the current year its total output value increased by 5.48 percent year on year. In the given period, Lueyang Steel's output values for iron ore concentrate, crude steel and finished steel rose by 62.52 percent, 1.99 percent and 15.42 percent respectively, all compared with the same period last year.

Meanwhile, in the first half of the year, Lueyang Steel completed construction work on its Heishangou Mine development project, while it also completed construction work on its shaft furnace pelletizing plant with an annual output capacity of 550,000 mt.
