Italian steelmaker Lucchini Group has completed the sale of its historical headquarters in Brescia in northern Italy. This is another step in the progressive dismantlement of the major Italian steelmaking group founded just after World War II by Luigi Lucchini.

Pierre Varnier, chief restructuring officer of Lucchini, commented, "The transaction is part of the debt restructuring plan approved by court as per Italian bankruptcy law."
