Mining produced 770,000 mt of
iron ore concentrate, up 41 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The miner's
iron ore concentrate sales in the given quarter amounted to 1.16 million mt, rising from 387,000 mt in the fourth quarter of 2012.
During 2013, London
Mining's
iron ore concentrate
production increased by 108 percent year on year to 3.4 million mt, while its sales volume amounted to 3.65 million mt, compared to 1.3 million mt in 2012.
According to London
Mining, its installed
production capacity increased by 40 percent to 5.4 million mt per year by the end of 2013 and the company is commissioning plant upgrades which will deliver strong volume growth in 2014.
