Logan Steel expands business

31-year-old Connecticut-based Logan Steel, Inc. has doubled its operation with the addition of an 11’000 square foot facility. Until recently, Logan had conducted all of its business under one roof but has found it has recently outgrown its old digs. It has split its operations into two locations. At its old facility it will still conduct sales, trucking, sandblasting, and paint operations. Down the road a short bit, its new building will house its fabrication division. The new facility is reported to have cost Logan $350’000. Right now the company employs 17 but with the expansion, it is set to hire 2 to 3 new employees and anticipates possibly bringing on more in six months. Logan Steel Inc. fabricates and distributes all forms of steel, aluminum, galvanized, stainless, structurals, rebar, wire, channel, angle, flats, plates, pipe, tubing, grating, cold and hot rolled, pickled, oiled, bars, Hot Rolled Structurals, expanded metal and roof decking.
