LKAB to supply direct reduction pellets to Emirates Steel for seven years

Swedish-based iron ore producer LKAB has announced that it has signed a seven-year purchase agreement with UAE-based Emirates Steel for delivery of one million mt of direct reduction pellets each year.
 
LKAB indicated that this agreement confirms that its products meet high demands on quality internationally.
 
Emirates Steel, the largest steel producer in the United Arab Emirates, is investing in the latest technology to become a major steel producer in the Middle East.
