LKAB ships 25.5 million mt of iron ore in 2013

Swedish-based iron ore producer LKAB has announced that in 2013 it shipped 25.5 million mt of iron ore, down 3.04 percent compared to the previous year, while the company's iron ore production in the given year also stood at 25.5 million mt.
 
In December, LKAB registered a record monthly iron ore output of 2.55 million mt, compared to the previous record of 2.46 million mt in November. The company's pellet production was 2.31 million mt in December.
