LISCO looks east for stainless plant

Lianzhong Iron & Steel Company (LISCO), a major stainless steelmaker in Guangzhou in southern China's Guangdong province, plans to build a stainless steel processing plant in eastern China. The plant will focus on cutting, edging and surfacing of stainless steel products. LISCO will also receive products from other steelmakers for further processing at the plant. No location has been chosen for the plant, but the company is considering Zhangjiagang, Changshu, Jiangyin, Wuxi, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Ningbo.
