Lingyuan Steel to commission 2,300 cubic meter BF in October 2012

As announced by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC), on December 25 its subsidiary China 19th Metallurgical Group Co. completed concrete pouring for the new 2,300 cubic meter blast furnace for Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Lingyuan Iron and Steel Co. (Lingyuan Steel).
 
Construction work on the 2,300 cubic meter blast furnace project started in mid-November this year, with the blast furnace expected to be commissioned in October 2012.
 
In the current year, Lingyuan Steel has started construction of a 2 million mt capacity pelletizing plant and two 1.2 million mt capacity converters and related equipment.
