LianYuan Steel issues unchanged flats prices

On May 15, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel released new ex-factory prices for its flat products. All prices have remained unchanged compared with the previous period. The details are as follows:

HR

The new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is unchanged at RMB 4,500/mt ($585/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,300/mt ($559/mt).

CR

The new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,930/mt ($641/mt).

HDG

The new price of 1.0 mm thick ST012 HDG is RMB 5,400/mt ($703/mt)

Full Hard

The new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is RMB 4,630/mt ($602/mt).

The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of May 16, 2007.
