Lisle, Illinois-based Leeco Steel, a part of the O'Neal Industrial Metals Group, has opened a new facility in Hamilton, Ontario that will begin shipping steel plate this month. Leeco Steel is a global supplier of carbon, HSLA heat-treated and alloy steel plate. This is Leeco Steel's first distribution center in Canada. It is starting with a 30,000 square-foot facility.

The company said the decision to expand into the southern Ontario region was customer-driven and was determined to be the most cost-effective and quickest way to serve customers in the area.
