Shangdong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Laiwu Steel has announced that it has developed production of TRIP (transformation-induced plasticity) 600 steel. The initial batch was found to meet all quality requirements.
TRIP 600 steel is a high strength steel. Its areas of application include automobile manufacture.
