Kuzbassrazrezugol sees 6.6 percent rise in January-July coal output

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has issued its operational results for the first seven months of 2010.

Accordingly, in January-July Kuzbassrazrezugol produced 27.604 million mt of coal - up 6.6 percent year on year, including 2.514 million mt of coking coal - up 85.7 percent year on year.

In July this year, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal production went down by 3.9 percent to 4.168 million mt, including 390,000 mt of coking coal - up 1.3 percent, both compared to June 2010.

Meanwhile, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal deliveries in the first seven months of this year amounted to about 26.040 million mt - up 2.6 percent, including 2.037 million mt of coking coal - up 30 percent, while its exports of coal amounted to 14.162 million mt - down 4.4 percent, all compared to the same period last year.
