Bulgaria's largest steel mill Kremikovtzi has stated that it is very glad to know that ArcelorMittal has expressed its interest in the mill's acquisition. The statement follows the meeting the world's largest steelmaker ArcelorMittal held yesterday with Bulgarian Prime Minister Petar Dimitrov on the subject of the purchase of a majority stake in Kremikovtzi.

Welcoming the interest expressed by ArcelorMittal, Kremikovtzi CEO Mr. Guntupalli Jagannadham commented, "This will ensure the stability of the plant operations on a long-term basis."
