Khuzestan Steel increases production

Iranian steel producer Khuzestan Steel Company announced that it produced 1.78 million tons of crude steel during the current Iranian calendar year, which began March 20, 2004. This production figure indicates a 109% increase over the company's targeted output for the current Iranian year. Moreover, this figure is also 113% higher than the previous fiscal year. The company sold 1.664 million tons of products during the current period. The company also produced 159'400 tons of steel between December 21, 2004, and January 20, 2005. That marks a 102% increase against the same period the year before.
