Khorasan Steel posts six percent rise in semi-finished steel output

Iranian steelmaker Khorasan Steel produced 143,000 mt of semi-finished steel (billet) in the first three months (March 21-June 20) of the current Iranian year, up six percent compared to 135,000 mt in the same period of the last Iranian year, according to the newly published figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

In addition, Khorasan Steel produced 144,500 mt of finished steel products (rebar) in the first three months of the current Iranian year, more or less unchanged on year-on-year basis, according to the same source.
