Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant’s steel pipe output rises 2.74 times in January-August

Ukrainian pipe producer Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW), a subsidiary of Ukraine's largest vertically-integrated mining and steel group Metinvest, has announced that in January-August this year it produced 397,900 mt of steel pipes, 2.74 times more compared to the same period of 2010. Also, KhPW's production of steel pipes in August decreased by 14 percent compared to July, falling to 46,600 mt.
