KGOK starts exploration works at new deposit

Kachkanarskiy GOK (KGOK), an iron ore mining subsidiary of Russian iron ore and steel producer Evraz Group, has announced the commencement of exploration works at the Sobstvenno-Kachkanarskoye iron ore deposit, the license for which it won in 2007.

The Sobstvenno-Kachkanarskoye deposit contains reserves of approximately 3.3 billion mt of iron ore with iron content of 16.6 percent.
