Karcel to produce steel bridges for road construction in Tajikistan

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has announced that its subsidiary Karçel A.S has signed an agreement in principle with Turkish contractor TEKAR-Teknik Arastirma Tic. Limited to manufacture 10 steel bridges for the construction of the Shurabad-Shagon part of the Kulyab Kalaikhumb road to be built in the Republic of Tajikistan. The contract worth $4.67 million will be signed in Dushanbe.
 
Established in 1998 by Kardemir which holds 99.9 percent of shares, Karcel manufactures steel construction materials.
