JSW Steel’s crude steel output up 39 percent in October

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, has posted a 39 percent year-on-year increase in crude steel production in October of the current year, amounting to 1.06 million mt.

According to the company's statement, in October this year JSW Steel produced 867,000 mt of flat rolled products, up 96 percent, while its long rolled product output amounted to 149,000 mt, decreasing by 10 percent, both compared to the same month of the previous year.
