JSW Steel’s crude steel output up 27 percent in August

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 1.35 million mt of crude steel in August of this year, showing an increase of 27 percent year on year, achieving its highest-ever monthly crude steel output.
 
According to the company's statement, in the given month JSW Steel produced 971,000 mt of flat rolled products, rising by 15 percent, while its long rolled product output totaled 251,000 mt, up 24 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
