JSW Steel’s crude steel output up 16 percent in May

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 1.35 million mt of crude steel in May of this year, showing an increase of 16 percent year on year, achieving its highest-ever monthly crude steel output.
 
According to the company's statement, in May, JSW Steel produced 930,000 mt of flat rolled products, rising by seven percent, while its long rolled product output totaled 298,000 mt, up 22 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
