JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 1.01 million mt of crude steel in April of this year, showing a growth of two percent year on year.
According to the company's statement, in April JSW Steel produced 765,000 mt of flat rolled products, decreasing by one percent, while its long rolled product output totaled 133,00 mt, down 19 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
