JSW Steel to set up three plants in India

Indian steelmaker JSW Steel Ltd. has announced that it is planning to set up three plants at a cost of $18 billion in eastern India by 2020. The plants, each of which will have an annual production capacity of 10 million metric tons, will be established in West Bengal, Orissa and Jharkhand. The company is also looking to acquire coal mines in Australia, Africa and Canada.
