JSW Steel posts improved crude steel output in FY 2013-14

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 12.7 million mt of crude steel in the financial year 2013-14 ending March 31, posting a 43 percent year-on-year increase.
 
According to the company's statement, in the given period JSW Steel produced 9.74 million mt of flat rolled products, up 55 percent, while its long rolled product output amounted to 1.83 million mt, increasing by two percent, both compared to the previous financial year.
