Jobs in German manufacturing up 1.1 percent in April

In April this year, the number of jobs in the manufacturing sector in Germany increased by 1.1 percent or about 56,000 people year on year, according to Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).

Meanwhile, in April earnings in the manufacturing sector in Germany indicated an increase of 5.3 percent year on year to €22.9 billion.
