Jigang Cold Formed Section Steel to officially start production

On July 19, Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jigang Group will hold a ceremony to mark the official start of production at its subsidiary Jigang Cold Formed Section Steel Co., according to Chinese media reports.
 
Construction work on the cold formed section steel project started in September 2011. Production capacity in the first phase of the project, which will produce cold formed steel hollow sections is 180,000 mt. The products will be applied in the automotive, engineering machinery, power transmission and other sectors.
